Riverside seats

On the footpath that runs along the right bank of the River Avon upstream of Morrison's Supermarket...

The footpath is fine in dry weather but in winter you cannot negotiate it without serious walking boots or wellies. An all-weather path, preferably extended beyond Morrisons, would offer a serious alternative to walking along the London Road into the City. Even in these cash-strapped times, it shouldn't cost too much, if everyone pulled together.

The air quality is deteriorating with the rise in congestion and the increased use of diesel engines in private vehicles. Walking the London Road, one suffers constant noise as well as air pollution. It is not untypical to feel nauseous by the time you reach your destination.
