Lilac Frosting

Yes it's that time again... the school cake sale. And this time it's Year 1's turn to provide the cakes, so this evening saw me producing some sweet goodies! They don't have to be homemade but as I have a machine that does all the mixing, throwing a few eggs, flour, sugar, etc into it is hardly hard work.

I love making frosting, and I love the patterns the mixer produces when you add the food colouring. A subtle lilac colour today... after all it is nearly Easter!
