Magnolia Stellata

I saw this beautiful magnolia in a nearby garden. Magnolias were my mum's favourite flowering plant.

Thank you so much for all the comments and stars for yesterday's photo of a sparrowhawk - it was the highest rated image I've ever had and it made the spotlight page. She (gladders put me right on its gender) is not a very good huntress as she was back by 6.30 this morning but didn't get a meal until around 5 this afternoon.
