Azzure

Took loads of potential blips today (benefits of a day off).

They all probably reflected my day better than this one, but I thought it would be nice to have some blue sky since the sun shone for most of the day.

Funny how a bit of warm weather brings out the best. Great lunch catching up with an old friend (are we old or is our friendship old, or a bit of both?) ;-)

Then a wander to the Gallery of Modern Art inspired me to revist old haunts around King Street, which has undergone a wee bit of re-branding.

But the best stuff is still there: Transmission Gallery (didn't 'get' the installation but 'not getting it is the new getting it' apparently); Street Works, Print Studio and the Trans Europe Cafe.

Discovered some new stuff too, including a boutique espresso bar... I'll be back!

By the way, the blip's of the Italian Centre, which tries to live up to the style of the Azzure. Just some posh shops and places to eat really. Top of the City Chambers in the background.
