Welcome to today

My favourite time of the day is dawn - a new chapter, a fresh page, exciting possibilities ahead and even in the days which start with dread the reality is very rarely as bad as anticipated. This morning was unbelievably calm and the smell of spring was in the air. I knew I would have little time to pop out to capture a city blip so I stopped off to catch the sunrise on the way to work.
