Morning Mist

Up with the larks today and out in my waling boots at 5.50am!! A misty and frosty start in my fleece, scarf and gloves....and an hour later, in my t-shirt and armfuls of excess clothing!

What a wonderful morning - I walked right down to the Whiteadder and watched the mist rise off the river. Heard, and then saw, the heron and some ducks. Saw two roe deer and a huge hare!

It is such a treat to have this continued spell of calm, sunny and warm weather.

Good news - Susan is home tomorrow for the weekend!
