Fridge / Freezer

Came back from a 3 day break in the Wigtown area and found that our 9 year-old F / F was slowly defrosting. (Very little frozen food had to be thrown out -- some langoustines (big prawns?) and some pastry packs which might have been dodgy.) Slow-cooked a big load of pork mince, beef mince and chopped bacon, tried some and re-froze the rest (we have another freezer in our garage).
We're still alive to tell the tale.

Got a good guy to check the F / F out -- very reasonable cost. He pronounced the death sentence.

We've now ordered a replacement online and it will be delivered tomorrow. I'm hoping to be able to slot it into the housing myself -- with a bit of muscle from my wife.

There's ALWAYS something.
