Mallard at the Braemar duck pond

Last day away and after spending a little time wandering round Ballater in the morning, we headed homeward bound and stopped in Braemar where we had lunch. We then went to the duck pond where I have about 300 odd photos of these birds. It was so hard to choose a single photo and I was sure I'd use a duck instead of a drake but I just love the colour the males have on their heads.
