Seeing the Mona Lisa

I have so many pictures to choose from for today as we went to the top of the Eiffel tower, then took the stairs down (from level 2). We had lunch in the restaurant on the 1st floor. It was my first time in the tower and we all really enjoyed it. I think it was worth waiting in the long line-up to get it.

We went from there to the Louvre where we did a quick, "greatest hits" tour. These are two of our friends, S seeing the Mona Lisa for the first time.

After the Louvre we headed to the Champs Elysées where Th joined us from school and the kids went to see the movie "The Hunger Games". They had long been awaiting it and weren't disappointed. There wasn't the buzz in the theatre that we expected, though. It seems Suzanne Collins' book isn't as well-known in France (yet). The parents went for apéro. Then we all headed back to the apartment after the film, trying to find a subway route without cars full of PSG supporters en route to the game.
