In the shadows

This street, half in shadows, I call Satellite Alley, as when you turn onto it one side seems to have more satellite dishes on the walls of the apartment blocks than any other street in the city.
It's real name is Esslemont Avenue, I cannot find out why it is called that, but near the town that I stay in is an area called Esslemont, or the Esslemont Estate, so presumably the name derives from the person who originally has the estate.
