Poncho #2

This morning the kids and I went to the pool for some free play time. We were in the water for over an hour and the kids had a blast. They were both so exhausted after all that swimming they had a nap! Connor for just over 2.5 hours! After he finally got up from his nap I took them to one of the high school fields so I could go running while they played in the center of the field. Connor joined me running for a bit and did very well but he eventually lost interest and played with his sister for the remaining time.

This is the second day of spring and the second day I've gone running! Perhaps a theme will emerge? It is now very easy to bring the kids along as they are old enough to follow the 'rules' and stay where I can keep my eye on them. This picture is of Ava ready to go to the field in her beloved poncho. The whistle is so she can tweet it every time I finished a lap. Although I'm pretty sure I heard a lot more tweets then finished laps.
