Easey St, Collingwood

So there a hundreds of shoes hanging from wires around Fitzroy and Collingwood. And probably lots of other places too. No idea why. But I kinda like it... In my mind at least, there are covert groups of Fitzroy hipsters flinging unwanted footwear up into the sky in the deepest darkest night...

Found this collection of them by going to wrong way to a cafe and going down Easey St. The sun was beating down and interfering with the shot I wanted to take... so, turned out that the best angle was straight up.
