Snowman and Three Dogs

We were so pleased to wake up and cheer for the snow this morning. For the first time in many, many years Kathy and I felt like school kids enjoying a snow day. We got out of the house early this morning to play in it.

The moist spring snow made for perfect snowman making material. While walking our pugs in the dog park, Kathy and I couldn't resist the urge to follow through in making one. Others of our neighbors joined in, providing a carrot for the nose and a hat. What a hoot.

Eugene shut down for the day, but the weather has warmed up and the snow is already melting. It seems tomorrow we will be back to more usual weather as winter succumbs to spring for real on the second day of spring.
