8:30pm and walking through the small collection of trees in front of a lodge with the WeeWeir.

She has been at the Big County kids club having a blast and we've been settling in to what will be our wee holiday home for the week.

Was reading my book while waiting and struggled to stay awake. The book is good. My sleepiness was is inevitable as the busyness of recent weeks is curtailed.

The journey north was calm and collected, the weather marvellous and bright and everything it set for a great few days away.
