Nelson's Shuttle
Visiting the town of Nelson today, I snapped a few shots of shoppers around town. These 2 guys on the benches seemed happy to sit and smoke and watch the world go by. Amongst the traditional old buildings and trees you can see a new-ish piece of art - a giant shuttle. I like how it fits right into the landscape of the town.
Info from here: says The Shuttle 'represents the town's historical significance in textile manufacture during the Industrial Revolution. Built in Cor-ten Steel'.
