Spring sentinel

A slightly better day today in that I managed to get out for a bit in the beautiful sunshine. Had to go down town for an appointment so called in on the church garden to see what was new.

It's lovely to see all of the Spring flowers putting on a show. As you may be aware, my church is celebrating it's 200th anniversary this year but the site has had a chapel on it for much longer than that.

The garden at the side of the church contains some old gravestones. They make an interesting contrast with the brightness of the flowers.
