The Royal Commonwealth Pool, renovated at a cost of £37m, reopens tomorrow. Kitty was one of 20 from her school invited to be the first to swim in it at the official opening. Edinburgh Leisure, which runs the pool, gave her a goodie bag afterwards which included a T-shirt, water bottle, a bag, a pass for a free family swim and some other bits and pieces. And she got to miss a couple of hours of school as well. Can't be bad.
