the incoming tide

I potted up surfinia plugs all morning, so was glad to get out for a walk on the beach this afternoon.
The light is very muted again, shadowless. The beach was deserted and the tide was rushing in strongly. This was the best of my poor batch of pictures today, but I liked the patterns the waves made on the sand.
