Kirkwall Approach

While I'm not a good flyer the views of Scotland from the air can be fantastic. Down and up to Inverness today and this can be particularly good. When completely clear, which today wasn't, you can see over to the Western Isles when heading north. Sun was setting as we came in to Kirkwall and had set by the time we took off for Sumburgh.
