Happy hump day

Something of a slow news day until this evening.

For those who aren't already awar, Wednesday is becoming known as hump day because we're over the hump of the weekend and heading down towards the weekend.

While in Preston this morning I realised I'm a very long way from recovery but on the plus side I know I can recover. Done it before so I can do it this time. And there are people in a much worse place than I am this evening.

I saw this on a slope in one of the parks in Preston. A lovely spring reminder that this is Preston Guild Year

I hope they will leave these daffodils as a permanent reminder of the 2012 Guild.
Around the City there are also many other floral "G" symbols that will no doubt be bursting with colour as the year progresses.
