Light me up

You know how it is. You place things at places, and then you walk by every day without thinking about it.

I got this lamp from a cousin years ago and I hung it in on a branch in the apple tree. It has been hanging there since then. Through all the seasons. In rain and snow. So patient, waiting for someone to put a light in it.

Poor thing.

I will light it tonight.
