Sol Sol Sol

What a lush day! Up at 9, tried to avoid coffee to nip my addiction in the bud, and lasted until 11 when I got a cappuccino and sunbathed with in in George Square, listening to RNE's Radio Exterior to try and get my head in gear for Spanish. I've resolved to listen to at least an hour of Spanish a day.

Lunch in the chaplaincy, eating my £1.55 worth of Tesco egg & cress next to Meg and Jenny who are living off less that £1 a day to raise money for Malaria No More. You can have a look at the project and donate (please do!) here.

Off to Kings for a fieldtrip on flood prevention, with the Cameron Toll shopping centre used as a great example of what not to do - not only built on a flood plain, but on top of a river. It flooded almost as soon as it was built... Had about £30 million spent on further flood prevention. See, society does need people like me to tell developers not to be so retarded. Which is why when I see news like this makes me so angry.
