Beinn Dearg

After a hearty breakfast Trish, Sharon and I head out from the hostel and over the dam at Loch Glascarnoch up the slopes of Am Faochagach. The initial good weather moved over to showers of severe hail and snow, real four seasons an hour stuff. After getting to the summit in a hail storm we retreated down and went quickly back up again as it cleared as fast as it had arrived. The pattern was repeated as we descended top Loch Glascarnoch and back to the pub but we got some great views over to Beinn Dearg, An Teallach and the Fannaichs.

Another great day on the hill and a good night in the pub with great food and good mates.
