World Sparrow Day

It seems, by some weird coincidence, that after my House Sparrow blip yesterday, that it is World Sparrow Day today. I had no idea that this celebration of Britain's favourite Little Brown Job existed.

So never one to disappoint I thought I would give you another House Sparrow picture today. I did try to get a shot of the female, but I am afraid every time she landed, she attracted the attention of several quite keen males.

By even stranger coincidence, my RSPB blog for the We Love Wales pages was also about another Little Brown Job, the Dunnock, which appears frequently in this feed.

So as the other blog says: "Let's big it up for the LBJs"
