Bob's just so damn pretty.

My younger daughter admitted today something I already suspected. She doesn't want to ride anymore or be responsible for a pony. When we bought Bob-the-Cob it was jointly for both girls (10yrs and 8yrs) who had both ridden since they were six. We always knew 8yo wasn't quite as keen as her big sister. It's a real shame but I'd rather she was honest about it. Eldest daughter is now delighted as it means Bob is solely her pony.

She still loves the ponies but doesn't want to ride them or lead them about etc. I think in all honesty it's her fear of animals rearing it's head. A farmers daughter who is scared of animals. Well, some animals. She's positively terrified of Dippy Dora the cat.
