A thorny issue

Walked down the road to post some letters with Hubby and Grace at lunchtime and there was a distinctly autumnal nip in the air. Saw these rosehips nestling with the seeding thistles. We used to call rosehips 'itchies' when we were kids and put the split hips down other kids' backs. Nice!

Went into work this afternoon just to get reorientated and to make a start on some paperwork.

However, the main talking point here today is the goings on at St. James' Park. Being a Newcastle United fan isn't ever easy, but today it's downright embarrasing.
