inspired by the sound of running water

Eating, sleeping, meditating and yoga. Everything we did this weekend was accompanied by the sound of the waterfall in Raisgill beck. In the past, its force was harnessed to power the industry in Fawcett Mill.

I haven't managed to find out how this water power was used, but the mill has a spinning gallery, so I guess it must have been connected with spinning or weaving of wool. I will have to do some more reading.
