El Lissitzky

I first discovered El Lissitzky when I based a GCSE art project around his work. I remember copying this picture 'Beat the Whites with the Red Wedge' and I've always really liked his style and the way he uses shapes to symbolise political movement. I'm a politics student and was in the university department earlier today and found a print down on the ground. I asked at the office what they were doing with it in case they were getting rid but unfortunately it's being moved. Made me remember how much I enjoyed working on that project.
