Tuesday: Our Garden

Today I offer you a picture of our garden.  The gazebo is shared but the bits in front of it are for us, which is nice.......

K. took the car to the garage today because my colleague convinced us that it was lower on one side than on the other.  Given the distance we have just driven it we were naturally paranoid.  Anyway, the mechanics pored over it for over an hour before comparing it to a new model of the same type.  Turns out the new car is also 1cm lower on the driver side because.........well, because of what?  The weight of the engine!!

Have been on my feet all evening at a reception so am going to soak them in a plastic bowl now.  As we don't have a foot spa, I am going to make K. blow bubbles into the water with a straw.
