Blue Days, All of Them Gone

In other news, opinion is divided on whether I am heroically carrying on (football yesterday, running today) despite having a broken toe or whether I am making a big fuss about a toe which is merely bruised. On the side of the "big fuss" argument is that I have told everybody about it which, apparently, isn't the action of someone heroically carrying on. But, on the other foot, surely I am more heroic than fussy? A third viewpoint - which is gaining adherents with every passing hour - is that people don't care either way and that I should just rest my foot and shut up. Or, failing that, just shut up.
