Prospective applicant
This is Portyboy1 (slightly out of focus) going off to an interview to join the RAF. I think my hand may have been shaking at time. The others were ok, but this summed up how I felt as he left the house. It's what he wants, so we have wished him luck.
It's been an almost blip day. My first miss was when I walked past a large dog with a green bandage/plaster cast on its hind leg. I was busy looking at something else when it passed, and was out of range by the time I switched camera on. The other was a disabled car - it was bright yellow, and was like half a car with no back to it and a large disabled car sign on its rear. It wasn't clear why the car was disabled - it seemed to be moving allright. haha.
I've done a lot of walking today. Eventually got the bill from plumber re recent leak, walked to Joppa, up hill, and along to his house, only to discover that there was a few houses with the same number but with a,b,c etc and no names. I had no phone as had purse and camera in pockets. Walked to burger king for onion rings and ?burger, walked another half mile to avoid roadworks, got bus and walked down Easter Road. It's looking old and decrepit despite the new housing developments.
Took a photo of Easter Road football stadium, with cemetry in front of it - perhaps an omen for the career of the Hibs goallie after his mistakes against the Gers on Sunday, but felt no one would know what it was about.Walked 1/2 way home. Got on the house to find Mr P in and wanting to go blipping 'up the river'. I couldn't say no, could I, although I felt exhausted. I had been out for 4 hours and need a caffiene boost.
