Today it has ..

rained and rained. It started at 1am and has not stopped. Roads are flooded and have been closed, cars have been washed away, an Audi overturned on one of the local roads, went round the roundabout too quick, numpty, fortunately the driver was unscathed, the gruas (break down trucks) have been busy collecting cars whose drivers decided to go through deep water too quickly, resulting in car engines cutting out.

I knew I shouldn't have watered the garden on Sunday. It's forecast brillaint sunshine tomorrow, we'll wait and see.

Footnote to yesterday's rant. Irene has just left a 10 euro note as their donation to Dennis's birthday present, miracles do happen.
