Tomorrow is Grandparents Day, when those who can, come to school and enjoy a morning tea, a concert and (hopefully) a good time.
Half way through the day I realised I'd better tart up the library, as we're having a display of books, which we're hoping the grandparents will donate.
To this end I distributed the crayons and paper and told the children to fill the page with a picture of Nan or Pop. I'm not renowned for my art teaching skills:)
The results, I thought, were wonderful.
A lot were more sophisticated than this (tho I'm a sucker for the younger children's naivete), but what they all have in common is the warmth and kindness they exude.
