Home Alone

The early part of the evening alone (Anton studying and flat viewing, Dave at football) is an opportunity for:

1. An easy meal
2. A glass of wine and
3. Jane Austen (Mansfield Park at the moment) on iPad audiobook. The latter is impossible unless I am wearing headphones when the men are at home! Dave runs around saying things like "Oh Mr Collins!" or "Mr Darcy, such a catch you know!" in a high pitched voice and pretending to swoon and Anton guffaws in appreciation.

They have no appreciation whatsoever! (Dave does make me laugh but don't tell him I said so).
