The Corinthian Arch, Stowe Gardens.

Visited Stowe Gardens today. Used the new car park and entrance although not officially open until the weekend. The new car park, visitor center, restaurant and shop are all stunning. The restoration undertaken on "New Inn", an 18th century coaching Inn is amazing.

The Corinthian arch stands on the hill at the end of Stowe Avenue. You can just see the House itself through the Arch behind the matal railing gates.

There is a half mile walk to get into the gardens - the NT has laid on a tractor pulling a couple of seated trailers which run every 20 minutes and are free. Well worth a vist if you are in the area.
