King's Cross Roof.

The new roof over King's Cross station concourse which was opened to the public for the first time today. A spectacular piece of architecture. My new "home from home".

Arguably the world's most famous railway station, thanks to 160 years of history including being home to the fastest (steam and diesel) trains in the world, the main departure point for Conan-Doyle's Holmes and Watson, a tragic fire on the underground in 1987, being a key location in the 2007 London Bombings and probably not in the least part due to a series of books about a young wizard departing from platform 9-3/4.

...and for the grammar pedants, the station's name should indeed be spelt with an apostrophe, as it is named after a cross (monument) to King George IV which no longer exists.
