Mother's Day

Not quite such an early wake up call today from Kerr and his cousins - 7.02am is kind of respectable, but still not ideal, especially for Mother's Day!

I was very lucky and Kerr showered me with cards and a gorgeous Cath Kidston bag this morning, along with lots of cuddles and kisses.

We went to church where Kerr and the girls made even more cards and gifts in Sunday School. Kerr went slightly overboard with the glitter and was perturbed when it was finally removed from his grasp.

This afternoon I took dropped Abigail at a party while Kerrsdaddy took Kerr and Lucy to the swing park. I then came home and started cooking a roast beef dinner for all my family. We ended up with 8 adults, 3 children and a baby - all piled around the dining table. I think it was a success, as there was very little food left over and everyone seemed to have a good time.

It was good to get our house back to ourselves tonight, just the three of us again. We loved having the girls to stay for the weekend, but it's also nice to get back to normal again after a tiring few days :-)
