Veins

A quick glance at my wrist at work today highlighted just how veiny I can get at times. I have almost translucent skin sometimes and my veins/arteries can be seen bright blue underneath. I like it, until it looks like I have pen on my face, arms and legs.

It's strange, I have such a prominent blood supply, but when I go to donate my lovely A+ blood, the veins collapse and the blood refuses to come out. The blood service people have told me not to bother going back as I'm a drain on resources. I only managed to give blood the once but have tried dozens of times. I hate seeing the adverts to give blood now because I know I can't do it :(

The colour of my top is also reflected on my arm in this shot (I'm not a smurf or anything). And of course you get an up close shot of part of one of my tattoos.
