It's like art innit

Lovely day today. It started with a stunning sunrise - no photos because I wanted to stay snuggled up in bed watching it. Then I took my younger daughter to work and came home to push the vacuum cleaner round for a while. Rather than doing that I decided to play hookey and headed for Dungeness. It's been ages since I've been able to go down there and it was wonderful just sitting in a hide listening to the birds and wallowing in the tranquillity. Then I drove along the coast towards Folkestone and stopped at Sandgate to take this - the colours are exactly as the camera saw them; isn't it stunning? Obviously I feel guilty about not doing my domestic chores but I'm confident that the dust will still be there tomorrow.

Marvellous Monday sinking slowly in the west - ring the last drops from it before we embrace a shiny Tuesday.
