IC

This is the library at my university - known as the Information Commons (or IC) because, as my flatmate who is studying librarianship informed me, the word library apparently has negative connotations now! Who knew? I certainly don't think of libraries as being a bad thing. She reckons it's to do with us being in an 'information age' or something.

I plan to spend a lot more time here, as I have realised I am a lot less productive at home than I initially thought. Looking forward to getting on with my work (for serious!). This evening was this guy S's birthday party, so E and I went along, but then S's flatmate got out his drums and started drumming with all his mates, so we left early. It was so noisy!
