well, there it is! 152km (almost 95 miles) which is the furthest i ever ridden in a day. that record will be beaten next sunday however when i do 200km raising money for macmillan cancer care

today, simeon and i completed the c.t.c.'s 'phil and friends' ride.

strictly speaking it was the c.t.c.'s 'and friends' ride because phil was busy commentating on the climax of the tour of ireland

anyway - it was the longest ride i have ever done. 6 hours 15 minutes of riding around the peak district which means you're either climbing or descending (seemed like a whole lot more ups than downs...)

first four hours were pretty dense fog. the last two were pretty dense rain!
