Today's ride

It had to be. Especially after yesterday's lunch, when I had kept on eating while the others waited. And was happy to pack home the leftovers too!

Rode longer than last weekend and despite some good climbs, it was easy. Next week will have to be tougher. The Riverside drive is a good alternative to being right by the river. The traffic signals can safely be ignored on this road by cyclists. On the other side though, parts of the Henry Hudson Drive run along a steep cliff with a steep abrupt drop down to the river on one side. I have been reckless and foolish before, but this was scary.

The evening brought sunshine with it, and the long meandering walk was quite perfect.
