Lady Sage Days

By LadySage

Just like the bee.

I've been busy too.. eventually. I was so worn out until later this evening when I burst into life. Around 6pm I did a load of washing and then made a bread and butter pudding with a brioche loaf. For someone who can't cook I did really well with it. It tastes gorgeous. Wasn't that difficult so I can see myself doing that again.

My sister rang this morning full of cold to talk to me and mum. I put the phone on loudspeaker so we could both talk and listen to her.

It's her birthday on 21st so it'll mean she will have to drive up here next week or if I'm down in her neck of the woods near Crewe then I'll call in with her presents and cards.

Just found out today that Crown Carveries are doing takeaways in a box when you have a meal you can order one to go. This will be brilliant as it means I'll be able to take one back for mum if I go for one.

Have been tidying ready for the nurse calling to dress mum's toe tomorrow.

This afternoon mum and I attempted to start weaving with the weaving gift she got yesterday. I should have blipped that but the temptation to go into the fresh air was too great. This blip is a bee on our evergreen Clematis.
