Mothering Sunday has been postponed

I woke up this morning feeling awful, and with my nose either blocked or bleeding, blurry vision, a sore face and head, and me a blubbering mess, I had to let my mum down - on Mother's Day - and not go to meet her for lunch (which would have involved at least 2.5 hours of driving).

And the award for Bad Daughter goes to (drumroll please) .....

I wish I felt better for a day in the house, but I don't. Maybe by tomorrow.

I had bought her this pretty card though. I'll pop it in the post tomorrow. But official Mothering Sunday celebrations have been postponed until further notice.
