Chagall, Opéra Garnier

We saw two modern ballets at the Opéra Garnier this afternoon, "Dances at a Gathering" (choreography by Jerome Robbins, music by Chopin) and "Appartement" (chor. Mats Ek, music by Fleshquartet). I particularly enjoyed "Appartement" which had an interesting use of props (an oven, vacuums, a washbasin/toilet) and beautiful dancing.

This photo is not taken from our seats in the troisième loges, although they were lots of fun... For this, I snuck in to a lower, more centered box after the show to get a view of the whole ceiling. How many Paris monuments can you spot?
