A Benevolent Contraption

Theme Of The Day: There was none. (I forgot to ask, she forgot to tell)

Since there was no theme for this day, I decided to take a picture of an intriguing contraption I saw the day before.
Yesterday I was not able to make this photograph since it was already dark, but today the light was on (still not the best for it was clouded).

When I first saw this construction up in the trees crossing over from one piece of forest to another, spanning a busy road, I laughed.
Then I looked again and though about what it could be, and I came up with a squirrel bridge made out of cable and green fabric.
Which is actually not that weird, here in Holland we have tunnels for badgers (Meles meles) or otters (Lutra lutra) and bridges for other wildlife.
