Cypress Swamp
We took a drive to the Noxubee Wildlife Refuge again today. The weather is fantastic: warm, dry, and sunny. I took many fun pictures, but this one stood out because of its complex magic factor: the cypresses, their reflections, AND their shadows all combined in the murky brown water.
We rescued a turtle by carrying it all the way across the road (it was marching very slowly through the two yellow lines in the middle when Husband Dear spotted it). We also saw a few ducks and a very substantial alligator. Good times!
