The Colosseum

Our hotel is up the near the train station " the Termin " and just a 10 minute walk from teh Colosseum and Forum.
Pretty busy in March but nothing compared to the Summer I suspect. 22 Euros got access for the 3 of us to the Colosseum and the Forum. More impressive than I remember it - especially the Forum area which has been extensively improved I think from our last visit.
I'd forgotten how hilly Rome is and how the Roman remains are scattered around a modern city centre.
