Wedding Present

Who would have thought we'd still be receiving wedding presents? Not us. We were married almost 17 months ago.

This is a beautiful glass plate/bowl from some long-standing family friends in Switzerland. I have known them all my life. Long story, short... friends of friends have flown over to London for a couple of days and visited my parents for lunch today.

It should be pointed out that she made the plate. Yes, made it herself. Amazing. Makes the gift even more beautiful.


My blips over the last 11 days have been entitled "Recovery". Thought I'd leave that heading for now. Recovery from my surgery continues, of course, and will do for many months.
