the faraway tree...

I am currently reading to Sienna the Faraway Tree series which she has embraced completely and unreservedly - to the point that it will apparently be the theme of her next birthday. Obviously her imagination is far superior to my giant tree making skills so we might need to rethink it all a bit!

Anyway up the fell we went today behind Grandma's house, way up high to where the larch trees grow and where we found the folk of the faraway tree living. Yes, come see it for yourself, they were all there and Sienna's spent a good hour talking to them, sliding down the slippery slip, getting wet by Dame Wash-a-lot's washing water and eating pop biscuits. As did I!
